Washington, D.C. – Congressman Josh Brecheen voted in favor of H.R. 8282, The Illegitimate Court Counteraction Act, on June 4, 2024. This legislation seeks to impose sanctions on the International Criminal Court (ICC) and any foreign entity supporting its efforts to arrest, detain, or prosecute protected persons from the United States and its allies. This includes Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.

“We can no longer allow the ICC to undermine the United States and our friends, especially at a time when Israel—our greatest ally in the Middle East—is fighting for its survival,” said Congressman Josh Brecheen. “The ICC is a rogue court that continues to threaten U.S. sovereignty. It is long past time that the ICC pays the price for targeting America and our allies.”
