Congressman Josh Brecheen has voted to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in inherent contempt of Congress. This decision could result in a $10,000 per day fine until Garland produces the congressionally subpoenaed audio tapes of Robert Hur's interview with President Biden.

"Especially following President Biden’s debate performance, the American people deserve to hear what is on these tapes," said Congressman Brecheen. "Unfortunately, Attorney General Garland is continuing the Biden Administration’s total disregard for the rule of law in defying a congressional subpoena. Holding Garland in inherent contempt of Congress is a necessary step in holding the Biden Administration accountable."
