On May 16, 2024, Congresswoman Bice (R-OK) expressed her support for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Reauthorization, highlighting its significance for Oklahoma's aviation industry. She emphasized the importance of the provisions included in this year's reauthorization that would extend and safeguard the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC).

Bice stated, “This legislation is crucial in helping the aviation industry throughout Oklahoma. This year’s FAA reauthorization includes provisions which expand and protect the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), which trains about 20,000 air traffic control students every year. This campus is a huge part of our community, and I am proud it will remain the primary training center right here in Oklahoma.”

The MMAC plays a vital role in training approximately 20,000 air traffic control students annually. The congresswoman expressed her pride in MMAC remaining as the main training center in Oklahoma.
