Washington, D.C. – In case you missed it, Congressman Josh Brecheen recently raised important questions to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas concerning illegal aliens voting and obtaining real ID driver licenses in states like New York and Illinois.

During the questioning, Secretary Mayorkas declined to provide a direct response regarding whether illegal aliens should be eligible to receive real ID driver licenses and did not address the issue of illegal aliens participating in elections.

In a statement following the exchange, Congressman Josh Brecheen expressed his concerns, stating, "It is very telling that Secretary Mayorkas refuses to answer basic questions like whether illegal aliens should vote in our elections or receive real ID’s. Under Mayorkas’ watch, more than nine million immigrants have entered our country illegally—more than double the population of Oklahoma. Mayorkas has shown zero respect for the rule of law and this is exactly why the House impeached him and why the Senate needs to move quickly to convict."

The interaction between Congressman Brecheen and Secretary Mayorkas sheds light on the ongoing debate surrounding the rights and privileges extended to illegal aliens in the United States. As this discussion continues, the actions and decisions of government officials, such as Secretary Mayorkas, remain under scrutiny.

Stay tuned for further developments on this pressing issue.
