Congresswoman Stephanie Bice has expressed her support for President Trump's recent executive order concerning the Department of Education. In a statement, Bice highlighted that the decision "empowers parents and renews commitments to put the educational needs of our children above the desires of Washington bureaucrats." She emphasized that the order aims to reduce regulations and simplify the process of distributing funding to states and local communities.

The executive order ensures that federal funding under key programs such as the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Title I funding for low-income schools, and federal student loan payments will remain unchanged. Meanwhile, Secretary McMahon is tasked with developing a plan to bring these funds closer to states, localities, and students.

Additionally, the White House's directive calls for maintaining "uninterrupted delivery of services, programs, and benefits on which Americans rely."
