As Congressman Josh Brecheen concludes his first term representing Oklahoma’s 2nd Congressional District, his office has shared key highlights from the 118th Congress. Over the term, Brecheen and his team have been actively engaging with constituents through various channels.
The congressman held a total of 106 in-person town halls across numerous locations within the district, including Adair, Antlers, Atoka, Bartlesville, Beggs, Broken Bow, Caddo, Checotah, Chelsea, Chouteau, Claremore, Coalgate, Commerce, Dewey, Durant, Eufaula, Fairland, Fort Gibson, Grove, Hartshorne, Haskell, Heavener, Henryetta, Holdenville and more.
Additionally, eight telephone town halls were conducted to reach constituents who could not attend in person. Field representatives from Brecheen's office completed 12,820 drop-in visits or meetings with constituents and organizations such as businesses and civic groups. They also participated in 181 speaking engagements and organized ten satellite office days throughout the district.
In terms of travel for these activities—including town halls—Brecheen's team covered a total of 213,281 miles. They also mailed out 1,835 commendation letters to constituents and assisted 1,308 veterans and other residents with casework related to federal agencies.
Congressman Brecheen himself participated in 28 speaking engagements with chamber and civic groups within the district.
