U.S. Senator Markwayne Mullin appeared on Fox News's The Ingraham Angle with Laura Ingraham to discuss President Trump's upcoming Joint Address before Congress. During the interview, Mullin emphasized the significance of President Trump's peace through strength approach as a means to end the war in Ukraine. He also expressed support for Elbridge Colby to be appointed as Under Secretary of Defense for Policy and criticized what he perceives as a lack of leadership within the Democratic Party.
Senator Mullin addressed Ukrainian President Zelensky's actions, stating: “Well, he messed up, and fortunately, it’s going to work out in our favor, especially with the mineral deal. Zelensky bit the hand that was trying to feed him...”
Regarding Elbridge Colby's opposition due to his association with President Trump, Mullin remarked: “Bridge did a phenomenal job... Anyone that’s going to oppose him is doing it just because of their hatred for President Trump.”
Mullin also commented on what he sees as an absence of leadership among Democrats: “That’s why you’re having all these messages they try to resonate... Harris couldn’t lead herself out of a paper bag.”
