Mullin emphasized the importance of hearing directly from community members, entrepreneurs, and leaders to inform his work in Washington.

During a Coffee & Conversations event in Coweta, Senator Mullin discussed a range of topics, including wins for Oklahoma in the recent budget package and the crisis at the southern border. Coweta Chamber Director Christy Wheeland praised the event as a valuable opportunity for local leaders to engage with Senator Mullin.

In a meeting with Mayes County leadership, including Pryor Mayor Zac Doyle and others, Senator Mullin addressed issues such as water and highway infrastructure needs. Mullin highlighted the significance of local partnerships and emphasized the impact they have on communities and schools.

At HE&M Saw Manufacturing in Pryor, Senator Mullin met with the leadership team to discuss challenges facing the manufacturing industry, such as rising product costs and overseas competition. The company, which has been operating in MidAmerica Industrial Park for nearly 50 years, employs over 200 Oklahomans.

Senator Mullin concluded his visit with an update on MidAmerica Industrial Park from Chief Administrative Officer Dave Stewart. The update included progress on infrastructure projects like a new airport, housing growth, and workforce training initiatives that aim to support industry in the park.

Senator Mullin's visit to Wagoner and Mayes Counties is part of his broader in-state work period, which began with visits to various organizations and communities in the Oklahoma City area and Ada. Mullin's engagement with constituents and local leaders reflects his commitment to representing the interests of Oklahomans in Washington.
