U.S. Senator Markwayne Mullin, along with Senator Jim Risch and nine other Senate Republicans, have addressed a letter to President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. The group criticizes the administration for its handling of immigration policies at the southern border, accusing it of exacerbating a national security crisis through executive orders.

The senators expressed their concerns about illegal immigration and drug trafficking, stating that the administration has neglected legal immigrants while facilitating illegal entry. "Instead of addressing the flow of illegal immigration and illicit drugs across our borders, your administration has turned its back on those who wish to immigrate here legally and welcomed illegal aliens with open arms," they wrote.

They further criticized the administration's approach to immigration enforcement. "Instead of detaining and deporting illegal aliens, your administration has shown a blatant disregard for the rule of law and national security," they added.

The letter is also signed by Senators Mike Crapo, John Cornyn, Kevin Cramer, Ted Cruz, Steve Daines, John Hoeven, James Lankford, Roger Marshall, and Tim Scott. These lawmakers are urging the Biden-Harris administration to address what they describe as an erosion of the U.S. immigration system and a threat to American families' safety.

The full text of the letter is available for public viewing.
