Oklahoma Christian swimming capped a historic week with a top-10 finish for the men, and Cheyenne Denison, carried the women's team to a 24th-place finish by herself.

Victor Rosado kicked things off again with another top-5 finish, this time in the 1650 Yard Freestyle, with a time of 15:17.34.

Brandon Heredia followed that up with a strong finish ending to his individual career, with a 44.15 swim in the 100 Yard Freestyle.

Cheyenne Denison had a strong swim in the 200 Yard Backstroke with a time of 2:00.66.

JT Amrein, who has been battling some adversity, finished an incredible race, taking second place in the 200 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:55.14.

OC wrapped up their trip to Indy with the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay team of Heredia, Amrein, Montgomery, and Rosado, taking 10th place with a time of 2:56.40.

The Eagles men finished the week in 10th place for an incredible finish during their second trip to the NCAA DII Swimming and Diving Championships, continuing the program's meteoric rise.

And Cheyenne Denison, one of the pillars of the women's team single-handedly led the women's team to 24th place with 19 points.

THOUGHTS FROM COACH DAVIS

On the backs of star sophomores JT and Victor and our senior captain, Brandon Heredia, the Eagles achieved their highest finish ever! I'm so proud of how far we've come I'm just six short years in existence. Each year we have moved up in relays and in points.

Our presence was felt here at these NCAA championships. Cheyenne did an amazing job propelling us from 35th last year to 24th this year.  It's hard not to get excited for next year already but we're going to celebrate the efforts of our 45 team records this year and our highest ranking ever.

Go Eagles!
