- First Half
- The Golden Hurricane had a great chance to score the go-ahead goal in the sixth minute when Madison Tokarchik fired a rocket shot from the left side from 30 yards out to the top portion of the goal, but junior goalkeeper Makayla Farquharson made a great leaping save to push the shot off the top of the crossbar.
- Tulsa pushed across the game-winner in the eighth minute when Liliana Fernandez collected Kayla Fernandez's rebounded shot in the middle of the 18-yard box and tapped a pass to Tokarchik on the left side of the 6-yard box, slipping a deflected shot inside the left post to make it a 1-nil lead.
- Mid-America Christian could only muster one shot attempt against a pesky Hurricane defense as the lone blocked attempt came off the foot of Kadin Stinson in the 15th minute.
- Second Half
- Tokarchik netted her second goal of the match in the 50th minute. When Farquharson slid in to poke a ball away from a breaking Isold Runarsdottir, the Tulsa striker ran down the loose ball, dribbled around two defenders and rifled a 17-yard blast from the left side toward the right post.
- MACU's only attempt on-goal in the match was booted by Annika Gerdau in the 79th minute from 30 yards out on the left side, but Hurricane keeper Tatum Sanders was able to snag the attempt to keep the clean sheet.
- Tulsa closed out the scoring with an 85th minute goal when Karsen Aguirre put a well-placed left side corner kick into the middle of the box as Emily Brandenberg knocked it in from six-yards out with her left knee.
