Graduates earn 130 degrees, certificates from Platt College-North OKC

About 50.8 percent of the 130 degrees and certificates handed out by Platt College-North OKC in 2017-18 were to students in personal and culinary services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in City conferred 47 associate's degrees and 19 certificates in personal and culinary services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in medical/clinical assistant. Data shows the school gave out 56 certificates in medical/clinical assistant, followed by 47 associate's degrees in culinary arts/chef training and 19 certificates in "other" culinary arts and related services.

The college enrolled 269 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
