U.S. Senator Markwayne Mullin expressed his support for the National Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, emphasizing the importance of standing by allies and investing in national defense capabilities. Mullin stated, “America is less safe under a weak administration,” highlighting the need for strength as a deterrent against adversaries.

Mullin credited former President Donald J. Trump for his contributions to the bill, stating, “President Trump deserves significant credit for suggesting the loan component and REPO Act provisions which improved this bill significantly.” He also thanked Trump for collaborating closely with Republican lawmakers to secure strong support for the legislation.

The Senator underscored the significance of the national security package in demonstrating America’s commitment to freedom and security. He emphasized the message it sends to the world, stating, “It sends a message to the world that America is still the beacon of freedom, and that we’re willing to invest in our own defense capabilities and those of our allies as means to ensure a safer, more resilient future for our country.”

In conclusion, Mullin reaffirmed America's dedication to freedom, stating, “This legislation, though imperfect, proves once again that the United States will not waver from the side of freedom.” The National Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, which includes provisions for defense interests in Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan, passed the Senate with bipartisan support.

The package comprises four key bills aimed at enhancing national security: the Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, the Ukraine Security Supplemental Act, the Indo-Pacific Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, and the 21st Century Peace Through Strength Act.
