On Friday, March 21, former Putnam City North High School standout Jeff Nwankwo’s current collegiate team the Oklahoma Sooners lost 67-59 against the UConn Huskies in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Lenovo Center, this was the first game against the UConn Huskies during the championship.

Jeff Nwankwo’s hometown is Oklahoma City and game position is guard.
