After voting to prevent a government shutdown, Congresswoman Bice released a statement emphasizing the potential consequences of such an event. She highlighted the impact on servicemembers, who would face going without pay during the holiday season. "A government shutdown would mean our servicemembers would be forced to go without pay during Christmas and the holiday season. I could not in good conscience allow that to happen," she stated.

The legislation in question mirrors efforts she previously negotiated with President Trump and House Leaders. It aims to provide support for Americans nationwide, offering relief to farmers and those adversely affected by natural disasters. Bice affirmed her commitment to continue working with President Trump to further his agenda and restore stability.

"The fight is not over, and I will continue working alongside President Trump to enact his agenda and get our country back on track," she concluded.
