Today, Congresswoman Bice, along with President Trump and House Republican leadership, worked on a legislative package that included a clean extension of funding until March 14, 2025. The package also aimed to provide disaster relief for those affected by hurricanes and tornadoes and included emergency aid for farmers.

Congresswoman Bice expressed disappointment in the outcome of the vote. "I am deeply disheartened that nearly every Democrat voted to shut down the government just five days before Christmas. This legislation would have given relief to families across the country who are recovering from natural disasters, such as tornadoes and hurricanes. It would have also provided emergency aid to struggling farmers who feed the nation," she stated.

She further acknowledged President Trump's role in the negotiation process: "I appreciated President Trump’s guidance and leadership as we negotiated this package."
