Oklahoma City Police Department 2022 Volleyball Season

The Oklahoma City Police Athletic League ended the 2022 Volleyball Season with on November 9, 2022 at Southeast High School with championship games.

Classen Comets SAS Middle School were crowned champions, earning first place. Classen Comets swept the Wheeler Tigers in the final match games, leaving Wheeler to claim second place in league standings.

Major Taylor Dinh and Captain Michelle Henderson presented the trophies and medals to the winning teams. MSgt. Travis Hinton MC’d the games providing excitement for the games.

Southeast Spartans placed third place over all.

Wheeler Tigers were coached by OCPD Lt. Vanessa Hurd and Southeast Spartans were coached by MSgt. Dawn Webb.

There were 14 teams in this year’s PAL volleyball league.

Officer Danesha Lambeth coached Capitol Hill Middle School.

Officer Nicole Friesen coached Jefferson Middle School.

A special thanks to the student athletes, parents, volunteer coaches, and OKCPS teachers & administrators for their support in success of the season.
