Oklahoma Christian University Lady Eagles take care of Homecoming

The Lady Eagles returned to the Nest for Homecoming, and first-year head coach, Markeith Brown, got an exhibition win in his Nest debut.

The Eagles overcame some early jitters in front of a packed homecoming crowd to roll to an 89-53 victory over York. OC's offense was spread out across the whole team, with five Eagles scoring in double figures.

Brooklin Bain had 20 points along with six rebounds, three assists, and two steals to lead Oklahoma Christian. Kate Bradley and three of her new teammates, Jordan Francisco, Kia White, and Olivia Travis each scored 10 points.

The Eagles' offense was getting looks inside at will en route to amassing an incredible 57 free throw attempts.

The defense locked up the Panthers, with 19 steals in the game, and held York to just 29.6 percent shooting from the floor.

Oklahoma Christian will have a 13-day break before taking on Newman in Edmond, at a crossover event hosted by Central Oklahoma on November 18-19.
