Rep. Stephanie Bice, who represents Oklahoma’s 5th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets from November 1 to November 3, 2025, highlighting the House GOP’s actions on government funding and criticizing Democrats for their approach to the appropriations process.
On November 1, Bice wrote: “Today is November 1st
@HouseAppropsGOP has passed all 12 appropriations bills out of committee.
@HouseGOP has fully funded the government with a clean, simple CR.
What are the Democrats doing? Playing games and supporting a government shutdown.”
She repeated this message on subsequent days. On November 2, she posted: “Today is November 2nd
@HouseAppropsGOP has passed all 12 appropriations bills out of committee.
@HouseGOP has fully funded the government with a clean, simple CR.
What are the Democrats doing? Playing games and supporting a government shutdown.”
The following day, on November 3, Bice reiterated her statement: “Today is November 3rd
@HouseAppropsGOP has passed all 12 appropriations bills out of committee.
@HouseGOP has fully funded the government with a clean, simple CR.
What are the Democrats doing? Playing games and supporting a government shutdown.”
