U.S. Representative Stephanie Bice, who serves Oklahoma’s 5th district, has used her social media platform to highlight provisions of the “One Big Beautiful Bill,” focusing on tax relief for workers.

On September 2, 2025, Bice shared a brief post linking to further information: ” https://t.co/1gBUQxRrQH”.

Later that day, she elaborated on the bill’s impact for service industry employees, posting: “The One Big Beautiful Bill includes no taxes on tips! This is great news for restaurant workers, brewery staff, salon employees, and gig workers throughout! #OK05” (September 2, 2025).

On September 3, 2025, Bice summarized key tax provisions in the legislation: “Get the facts- our bill provides historic tax cuts for working families!

Tax provisions (retroactive starting this year)
No tax on tips
No tax on social security
No tax on overtime

This is a bill for hard working Oklahomans and will put more money in YOUR pocket!”

Stephanie Bice has represented Oklahoma’s 5th District in Congress since replacing Kendra Horn in 2021. Prior to her tenure in Congress, she served in the Oklahoma Senate from 2014 to 2020. Born in Oklahoma City in 1973 and currently residing there, Bice graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1995.
