Rep. Stephanie Bice, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Oklahoma’s 5th district, has recently highlighted her legislative efforts on healthcare, deregulation, and border security through a series of posts on social media.
On September 15, 2025, Bice posted about her support for rural healthcare initiatives: “Rural America deserves a healthcare system that works! I’m proud to have supported the Working Families Tax Cuts, which invests $50 billion in rural health transformation across the states.”
The following day, she addressed regulatory reform efforts and referenced recent executive action: “This is absolutely correct from @SecScottBessent! Earlier this year, @POTUS signed one of my deregulation bills into law, and I will continue to find ways to cut bureaucratic red tape and streamline processes.” This post underscores her focus on reducing bureaucratic obstacles in government.
Later that same day, Bice commented on media coverage of her border security legislation: “Great coverage from @NEWS9 with Alex Cameron on my bill, the Stop Illegal Entry Act. This legislation takes critical steps to secure our border and protect American people.”
Stephanie Bice has served in Congress since 2021 after replacing Kendra Horn. Before her tenure in the U.S. House of Representatives, she was a member of the Oklahoma Senate from 2014 to 2020. Born in Oklahoma City in 1973 and currently residing there, Bice earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater in 1995.
