U.S. Representative Stephanie Bice, who represents Oklahoma’s 5th district, posted a series of tweets on October 9, 2025, criticizing Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and inviting constituents to a town hall event.

In her first post at 14:47 UTC, Bice responded to a statement from Schumer, writing, “Truly disgusting statement. @SenSchumer would you like to explain how missing a paycheck makes things better for hard-working Oklahomans?”

Later that day at 17:50 UTC, Bice promoted an outreach event for her district: “Join me for a Telephone Town Hall tonight at 7pm CT, with special guest @SenMullin. We’ll give a brief update on what’s happening in Congress, and then we will take your questions. Dial (833) 305-1731 to join the call.”

In another tweet posted at 18:19 UTC, she wrote, “Chuck Schumer is America last!”

Bice has served in the U.S. Congress representing Oklahoma’s 5th District since 2021, after defeating Kendra Horn in the 2020 election. She previously served in the Oklahoma Senate from 2014 to 2020 and was born in Oklahoma City in 1973. Bice holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater.
