Rep. Stephanie Bice, who represents Oklahoma’s 5th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on her official X account addressing recent legislative developments and national security concerns.

On July 16, 2025, Bice shared a lighthearted message referencing a sporting event: “Game time!! #BeatThePress https://t.co/BLQqkSEEVB”.

The following day, she addressed questions surrounding the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump. In her July 17 post, Bice wrote: “After the attempted assassination of @realDonaldTrump, there were a multitude of questions about whether the shooter had been seen and how he was allowed to climb a facility and take aim at the Republican nominee for President.

The Secret Service Recording Accountability Act”.

Later that same day, Bice highlighted legislative progress in transportation and housing policy. She stated: “Great news! The FY26 Transportation, Housing and Urban Development bill just passed the Appropriations Committee. This legislation will invest in transportation safety and safeguards American taxpayer dollars.”

Stephanie Bice has served as a member of Congress since 2021 after replacing Kendra Horn. Prior to her tenure in Washington, she was an Oklahoma State Senator from 2014 to 2020. Born in Oklahoma City in 1973, Bice continues to reside there and is an alumna of Oklahoma State University–Stillwater, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in 1995.
