Last week, U.S. Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) spoke with Washington Times reporter Alex Swoyer about the Trump Administration’s recent military actions against boats allegedly involved in drug trafficking from Venezuela to the United States.
During the interview, Senator Mullin expressed support for these operations and praised the administration’s approach to preventing drugs from entering the country. “Why would we care? They’re terrorists,” Mullin said, referring to those operating the targeted vessels.
Mullin further commended ongoing efforts by federal authorities to protect Americans from what he described as lethal threats posed by drug smuggling activities.
