Senator James Lankford, a U.S. Senator representing Oklahoma, used his Twitter account in early December 2025 to address several topics including remembrance of Pearl Harbor, healthcare policy debates, and local sports achievements.

On December 7, 2025, Lankford commemorated the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor by stating: “Today we remember the over 2,400 Americans lost during the attack on Pearl Harbor. We are forever grateful for the brave men and women who gave their lives to defend our freedom.”

Two days later, on December 9, he commented on Senate proceedings and celebrated a local football milestone: “This week we’re moving forward with @POTUS’ nominees, while also trying to figure out what Democrats’ healthcare plan is. Big announcement over the weekend, though—@OU_Football is officially a playoff team! We can’t wait to cheer you on. That’s What’s Moving on Monday!”

Later that same day, Lankford raised concerns about federal involvement in personal affairs and critiqued current healthcare spending: “Do you want Washington running your life, or do you want the freedom to run your own?

Republicans recognize what American families already know – pouring billions more into the broken Obamacare system won’t fix it. We want to address the underlying problems so Americans have”

Senator Lankford has been an active participant in national discussions around healthcare reform and regularly uses social media platforms to communicate his positions on legislative developments and community events.
