Sen. James Lankford, who represents Oklahoma in the United States Senate, recently shared updates on his activities and engagements across the state through a series of posts on social media.
On April 2, 2026, Lankford highlighted a visit to the Oklahoma Judicial Center, stating, “Enjoyed spending time at the Oklahoma Judicial Center yesterday afternoon with Chief Justice Rowe and Mike Turpen talking about the importance of civility. Washington is a mirror of who we are. We’ve seen division before and made it through. Live out your core values. Oklahomans”.
Later that day, he posted about attending an event organized by the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs (OCPA), writing, “It was great spending time with the good folks at @OCPAthink last night at their Citizenship Awards Dinner to celebrate hardworking Oklahomans advancing limited government, individual freedom, and the values that make our state strong.”
On April 3, 2026, Lankford discussed his meeting with students from Walters High School: “Spent the morning with future leaders from Walters High School. It was great to hear their perspectives and take questions on issues at home and abroad. I’m grateful for their curiosity and drive. Lankford is recognized for his advocacy of lower taxes, limited government, economic freedom, and protection of families and individual liberties.
