Sen. James Lankford, who represents Oklahoma in the U.S. Senate and chairs the Senate Select Committee on Ethics, recently shared updates on government accountability, economic developments, and a Supreme Court decision via his official social media account.

On February 20, 2026, Lankford addressed a Supreme Court ruling regarding executive authority over tariffs: “Like many of you, I’m still reviewing today’s SCOTUS ruling on the authority of the Executive Branch to impose tariffs. There is no question that President Trump has opened up new markets for American products all over the world, which is a huge help to our economy.
