In one post, Lankford criticized the Food and Drug Administration’s recent decision regarding abortion medication. He stated: “The FDA’s move to approve a generic version of mifepristone while a safety review of the drug is ongoing puts women at risk. Chemical abortion carries serious and well-documented dangers for mothers. @SecKennedy himself said that the Biden administration twisted the data to bury” (October 3, 2025).

In another message posted later that evening, Lankford commented on developments related to hostages taken during an attack nearly two years prior. He said: “Good news for the families still waiting for their loved ones who were taken hostage during the horrific October 7th attack nearly two years ago. Thank you for your work on this, @POTUS.
