Sen. James Lankford, U.S. Senator representing Oklahoma, has recently posted a series of statements on social media addressing taxpayer funding for surgeries, religious freedom and antisemitism, and honoring a notable Oklahoman.
On December 18, 2025, Sen. Lankford posted: “Taxpayer funds should NOT be used in sex-rejecting surgeries. Great job @DrOzCMS https://t.co/Wek3DPNtsq”
The following day, on December 19, he commented on constitutional rights and the issue of antisemitism: “This is the United States of America. We have a first amendment right to live whatever faith we choose. We also have the freedom of speech and I have the right to call out antisemitic hatred. Antisemitism has no place in our nation. https://t.co/aciwxacGXG”
Later that same day, Sen. Lankford acknowledged an individual from his home state: “It’s been a privilege to lead the Oklahoma delegation in honoring Oscar Upham, an Oklahoman who exemplified service both on the battlefield and here at home in Guthrie. https://t.co/kMrvhKGZzt”
Senator Lankford has served as a U.S. Senator since 2015 after previously serving in the House of Representatives for Oklahoma’s 5th congressional district.
