Senator James Lankford, representing Oklahoma in the U.S. Senate, recently addressed several issues through a series of posts on his official X (formerly Twitter) account.

On August 14, 2025, Lankford drew attention to the ongoing targeting of Jewish Americans, stating, “Jewish Americans continue to be targeted simply because of their faith and heritage in schools, synagogues, and in their own neighborhoods. This disturbing trend demands urgent attention.”

Later that day, he congratulated Oklahoma State University for its investment in veterinary medicine. In his post from August 14, 2025, Lankford wrote: “Congratulations to @okstate on this critical investment in building a world-class veterinary hospital. This transformational project will advance veterinary education, strengthen rural communities, and help secure our Oklahoma food supply. #GoPokes!”

On August 15, 2025, Senator Lankford commented on legislative developments related to the “One Big Beautiful Bill,” noting public engagement with its contents: “The One Big Beautiful Bill has become One Big Beautiful Conversation. It’s encouraging to hear people still finding information that they are excited about in the OBBB.”

Senator Lankford has previously spoken out against antisemitism and supported educational initiatives within Oklahoma. His remarks regarding attacks on Jewish Americans reflect ongoing national concerns about religious discrimination and hate crimes. The new veterinary hospital at Oklahoma State University is part of broader efforts to enhance rural health infrastructure and agricultural resilience across the state.
