Rep. Stephanie Bice, who represents Oklahoma’s 5th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on her official X account criticizing Senate Democrats and highlighting recent actions by House Republicans regarding government funding and healthcare policy.

On September 30, 2025, Bice questioned the stance of Senate Democrats with a post stating, “Listen to their own words. What changed @SenateDems? https://t.co/wUjKJD96SE”.

The following day, October 1, 2025, she addressed the status of appropriations bills and criticized Democratic lawmakers for their approach to government funding: “Today is October 1st

@HouseAppropsGOP has passed all 12 appropriations bills out of committee.

@HouseGOP has fully funded the government with a clean, simple CR.

What are the Democrats doing? Playing games and supporting a government shutdown.”

Later that same day, Bice commented on healthcare coverage for certain groups in blue states, referencing California Governor Gavin Newsom: “No one said they will get ACA premium tax credits …

We said they’ll get FREE HEALTHCARE thanks to blue states.

Just ask Gavin Newsom;
