Oklahoma City University has taken five runners to the NAIA women’s indoor track & field championships this weekend at the Sanford Jackrabbit Athletic Complex.
Oklahoma City’s Cailen Jolley came up with a top-20 time in the 800 meters this season, ranking 19th with her mark of 2 minutes, 17.65 seconds in the Arkansas Invitational on Jan. 13.
Jolley ran the anchor leg as the Stars’ 4×800-meter relay team had its top time of the season in the NAIA JUCO Challenge on Jan. 21 of 9:39.20. OCU has brought Jolley, Florencia Cabrera, Louise Cocking, Ginger MacInnis-Pierce and Erika Pena to comprise its relay team. Cocking is set to run in the 3,000 meters.
