Verrell McBride took 5th in the Men’s 200 Meter Dash with a time of 21.71, just .2 seconds off the provisional mark.

Owen Pearce brought home third place in the 5000 Meter Run with a time of 14:38.65.

The junior transfer and freshman shined in the Women’s 5000 Meter Run, as Elizabeth Heffernan and Caroline Karr finished in 1st and 2nd place with times of 17:40.06 and 17:57.64, respectively. Heffernan finished almost a minute ahead of the third-place finisher.

Wyatt Thiel finished 6th in the high jump.

THOUGHTS FROM COACH MILLER

We had a good opportunity for most of our team to get on a banked track for the first time this season and get some experience for our conference and national meet which will both be on banked tracks. We had quite a few strong performances throughout the meet and Chaney really put together a strong weekend in the Hep!
