Oklahoma Christian University Lady Eagles start strong, battle in Durant

The Lady Eagles continued their road trip to open the season with a game against the Southeastern Oklahoma State University tonight in Durant.
 
The Eagles came out hot in the first quarter as they jumped out to an 11-2 lead, and won the quarter 18-12. OC did so on 57.14% shooting in the quarter and was led by Kia White and Olivia Travis, who each scored 4 points.
 
Southeastern State rallied in the second quarter to take a 28-23 lead into halftime. OC’s offense surged back in the third quarter with 7 Eagles players scoring in the quarter.
 
Kate Bradley and Brooklin Bain paced Oklahoma Christian’s offense in the 4th quarter, leading them to 20 points in the final ten minutes.
