Oklahoma Christian University Eagles finish 15th in a loaded race

The Eagles continued to build as they head toward the conference championships, and this time it was with a 15th place finish out of 48 teams.

Oklahoma Christian was led again by Owen Pearce (23:55.00), who finished 14th in the 483-runner field. Colten Brown was the next Eagle to finish, he finished 62nd with a time of 24:42.80.

Tegan Arega was the next Eagle to finish, and he finished 121st with a time of 25:16.30. Dylan Burrows came across with a time of 25:38.30, finishing 154th. Griffin Chesire rounded out OC’s five with a time of 26:04.40.

“We had a great course and weather today!” head coach Wade Miller said “Owen put together a great race and our team collectively had a race that should build momentum moving into the conference championships.”

The Eagles will take a week off to prepare for the Lone Star Conference Championships on Nov. 5th in Wichita Falls, Texas.
