Oklahoma Christian University dominates Harding, goes 2-0 at Thanksgiving Classic

Oklahoma Christian wrapped up its time at the Thanksgiving Classic hosted by Arkansas Fort Smith, with a dominant performance against Harding on Saturday evening.
 
In the first half the two teams traded baskets to open the game, but after the Eagles took a 7-6 lead, they went on to never trail again.
 
Drew Tennial continued his strong start to the season with 13 first half points to lead the Eagles. Antonio Gordon chipped in 8 first half points, was a team-high plus-eight in the half and boosted OC to a 34-30 halftime lead.
 
In the second half Oklahoma Christian was dominant. The Eagles opened the half on a 20-7 run, expanding their lead to 54-37. They did so on 56.3% shooting in the half and were led by Moun’Tae Edmundson with 15 points on 6-7 of shooting.
 
Edmundson, Tennial and Karlyn Kenner scored 15, 11, and 10 points respectively, to lead OC to 45 points in the half, and a 79-56 victory.
 
After the weekend sweep, the Eagles are now 4-1 and will head into conference play in a road matchup on Thursday at Lubbock Christian.
