No. 18 Women’s Golf teed off their spring season this week with a 36-hole tournament at the Diffee Ford Lincoln Invite, hosted at Lincoln Park Golf Course (east).
 
Haley Blevins led Oklahoma Christian this week by tying for eighth with a two-day total of 146 (+4).
 
Alex Bennett and Wilma Merenmies each tied for 17th after their two rounds. And each of them had four birdies during their opening round.
 
Sofia Benavides finished T25 with a score of 151 (+9). Benavides tied Bennett for the low round of the tournament for the Eagles with a 71 in her second round.
 
Sarah Sherrard rounded out the top five for OC, finishing 47th with a low round of 77 in her final round.
 
Oklahoma Christian, as a team, finished in 4th place out of the 16-team field, with a low round total of 295. 

The Eagles will travel to Wichita State next week for the Midwestern State invitational.
