NSCEB Vice Chair Michelle Rozo also recognized Oklahoma’s contributions. “Through investments in emerging technologies and in the future biotech workforce, Oklahoma is strengthening the state’s economy and contributing to America’s national security.”
During their visit, commissioners toured BioTC, a hub for biotech workforce development, and held discussions at Innovation Hall with industry leaders about workforce training, biomanufacturing, and growth opportunities within Oklahoma’s life sciences field.
Oklahoma Secretary of Commerce Deborah Moorad commented on recent progress: “Our state is achieving remarkable progress in the bioscience industry, driven by strong collaboration between the private sector and community leaders.”
