Senator Markwayne Mullin, a Republican representing Oklahoma, shared several statements on his Twitter account regarding U.S. politics and recent government actions.

On August 5, 2025, Mullin commented on the political climate within the Democratic Party, stating, “The liberal elite are flocking to a communist running for mayor in the United States of America. There’s no question which wing is in control of the Democratic Party.”

The following day, August 6, 2025, Mullin addressed military recruitment achievements under the current administration: “Under @POTUS and @SecDef, every U.S. military branch has hit their recruitment goals at LEAST three months ahead of schedule. Morale is high, and young American patriots are fired up to serve their country.”

Later that same day, Mullin highlighted policy measures enacted during former President Donald Trump’s tenure: “We worked with President Trump to deliver: the largest tax cut in U.S. history– increasing take-home pay by as much as $13,300, and TERMINATED taxpayer-funded benefits for over 1.4 million illegals who were gaming the system. Promises made, promises kept! Relief is on the way.”

Markwayne Mullin has served as a U.S. Senator since January 2023 after previously representing Oklahoma’s 2nd congressional district in the House of Representatives.
