Markwayne Mullin, U.S. Senator from Oklahoma, has recently used his social media platform to comment on immigration enforcement and legislative accomplishments by Republicans.

On July 17, 2025, Mullin posted about an incident involving a foreign national and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers in Oklahoma City. He stated, “A Honduran national and ICE fugitive was charged with resisting, assaulting, and injuring an @ICEgov officer in Oklahoma City. ICE attacks are up 830%. Deportation operations are only getting stronger with passage of OBBB. Enforce the law. Back the Blue. Detain and deport.”

The following day, July 18, 2025, Mullin highlighted what he described as recent achievements by Republican lawmakers: “Republicans are delivering— $9 billion DOGE cuts. Bigger paychecks. Historic tax relief. No tax on tips. No tax on overtime. Lower energy costs. Permanent border security. Strengthen small businesses. Promises made, promises kept!”

Later that same day, Mullin reiterated his stance on fiscal policy by posting: “Lower taxes. Invest in Americans.”

Senator Markwayne Mullin has been a vocal supporter of stricter immigration enforcement measures and has consistently advocated for policies that prioritize lower taxes and support for American workers and small businesses.
