Senator Markwayne Mullin, representing Oklahoma in the U.S. Senate, posted several messages on his social media account between September 19 and September 21, 2025. The tweets address political topics and include a biblical reference.

On September 19, Mullin tagged the official accounts of the Senate GOP, President of the United States, and Rapid Response 47 in a tweet that included only their handles and a link: @SenateGOP @POTUS @RapidResponse47 https://t.co/26odlzY5Uw.

Two days later, on September 21, Mullin shared a passage from the Bible’s book of Isaiah: “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” Isaiah 43:2 NIV.

Later that same day, Mullin commented on recent votes in Congress related to memorializing two tragedies. He wrote: FACT: “Both sides” had the chance to memorialize two recent tragedies.

118 House Dems refused to condemn @charliekirk11’s murder.

58 Dems voted NO.
38 voted present.
22 didn’t even vote.

At least today, millions will honor Charlie as he is laid to rest in Arizona. https://t.co/KzwYIyQdFw (September 21).

Markwayne Mullin has served as U.S. Senator for Oklahoma since January 2023 after previously representing Oklahoma’s Second Congressional District in the House of Representatives. As a member of Congress, he has been active on issues related to government transparency and public policy debates.
